Recent lessons learned on developing policies and regulations for short lived climate pollutants mitigation in the oil and gas sector

Based on lessons learned from the Nigeria example and also from gathered information from Mexico and other countries that are in more advanced stages of developing policies for methane abatement in the O&G sector, this document provides some basic guide/information on how to develop short-lived climate pollutant (SLCP) mitigation policies and regulations in the sector and how to link those reduction policies into NDCs.
